What happens to Bonito when there is heavy rain?

In the summer it rains more often, even though more shortly, which increases the level of water in the rivers. They become fuller and make the flora even more intense and thriving. The downside is that the clear waters get turbid, and some tours may be affected.

Sometimes they last a few hours and the tours and roads reopen in the same day. Sometimes the wait may last the whole day for a certain region.

When your tour is interdicted it means there are no safe conditions of arrival (flooded roads) or operation (the tour can't operate). Most tours have access by dirt roads, so we have to confirm their condition before allowing the tourist, or check on the water levels to make sure you will have the best experience.

However, in case there is some interdiction, we can offer you other tours with available spots or a refund through wire transfer according to your payment methods.
